I bet it's been interesting seeing how different relationships and family names have come in and out of importance over all that time @RachaelC. What are some of the biggest storylines you remember?

    Some very iconic storylines @RachaelC @Amberpearl ๐Ÿ˜€

Do you remember Who Killed Archie storyline? And poor Bradley falling off the Queen Vic during the live episode!!

I also really wish they hadn't killed Ronnie and Roxy off, they were two of my favourite characters!

Won't say much in case anyone's not watched it yet but, utterly heartbreaking/moving especially for anybody who has loved somebody with dementia. If you know you know ๐Ÿ’”.

Me too @Amberpearl with my lovely mum. I always generally want Corrie to win any awards but this storyline tops them all, very impactful imo. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear or two., brought it all back.

No Emmerdale, Corrie or Eastenders tonight thanks to rugby and football ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฃ. Think I'll read a book and listen to music. Tonight TOTP BBC4 1999, 1991, 1978 and then Simon & Garfunkel.

I don't watch the soaps these days because I'm impatient and don't want to wait a week for another episodeโ€ฆ. but I couldn't scroll past the Eastenders picture without hearing the "dun dun dun dundundundundundun" so I had to share (sorry๐Ÿ˜…)

Aw i thought last nights episode was so emotional @Santosha12 @Amberpearl.

Absolutely great acting though especially by the men who plays Nigel and Phil. Very impactful and moving episode

Oh it was so 'real' wasn't it @Mary_Scope. I remember these exact same emotions when my lovely mum went in a home in Aug 2019. It broke my heart and more importantly, my mum's. For so many families there's really no choice, for mine, there was which makes it far worse.

๐Ÿคฃ I've only just recently started watching Eastenders again. I've even thought of waiting until a Friday and watching 2hrs of Eastenders, 2.5 hours of Emmerdale and 2.5 hours of Coronation Street, all in one day. I don't think I could wait all week though.

Only trouble it reminds me of my ex ('Elvis', don't ask, ha ha ha) whose gigs meant he'd catch them ALL including Neighbours ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„ and Hollyoaks too ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ฌ) on a Saturday morning in the days when we videoed them all. Jeez I definitely do not miss those days ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I think some of the storylines have got a bit dark lately for a soap and the time its broadcast. Avid fan though.

A warm welcome to you to the community ๐Ÿ˜Š.

I've only just started watching it after a c 12 years break! It is quite dark, tonight's is good I'll say no more. Corrie also has a couple of dark storylines at the moment.
