Drivers seat height in vehicles

Hi,

I cant afford a new car and I don't qualify for Motability or any other assistance.

So can anyone suggest an older vehicle I could purchase with a high drivers seat position please. I have a fused spine and can't get in and out of lower car seats or lift my feet to the pedals constantly without straining my back. I can cope with a van driving position but don't want to buy a van. I have looked at van derived MPV's but they are out of my price range currently. Just hoping somebody on here has had an older vehicle with a van driving height seat, that can suggest an alternative for me. Thank you.

    Hi, something like a Ford Galaxy or S-Max both have a high seating position. Or the VW Sharan and Seat Alhambra which are both similar?

    There are also some smaller cars with higher seating positions since the 'crossover' section started. Really depends on your budget as to whether any of those might be affordable.
