Would it be worth reapplying for a Provisional driving license?
I had one when I was 20, almost 30 years ago but I wasn't diagnosed with the Autism then, I reapplied about 7 years later and was refused by the DVLA, they said I wouldn't be able to control a vehicle, and I'd be a candidate for "Road Rage" due to my tendency to get mad easily.
Nearly 23 years later, I'm still disabled, still neurodivergent, but I'd like to re-visit having lessons, in an Automatic… Would it be worth spending £34 to apply to the DVLA again or would they say no?

It might be a good idea to check with your GP or other medical professional first? If they say no, then I’d save your money as DVLA will write to them for their opinion

I agree with @Hopeless as GP would be a good port of call as it would hopefully save you a bit of money if it's not suitable

Would you say you are no longer a candidate for road rage? What has or has not improved since you were 20?

I freely admit I have almost NO patience, but I don't get mad as much as I used to.

I would say, everything has changed, driving stye, scooters, electric cars and the roads. If you got annoyed 20 years ago, you'd go mad at the drivers now. Stick with a bike or taxi or walk.
