Moving from lcw to lcwra

I was automatically awarded lcw when I made the automatic move from tax credit to uc in Jan 2025 my health conditions got worse so I reported a change on my journal and was sent out a uc50 form which I filled out and returned June 2025 to claim lcwra I've still not heard back or had any acknowledgement I asked my coach on 1 meeting and she said it was logged but is in the non priority list its been over 9 months is this normal? Will I get it backdate payment if I get it? And since I applied before April 2026 will I be on the old payment? Any help advise kindly appreciated its giving me anxiety im very anxious thank you

    There are very long waits for reassessment with claimant led changes of circumstances, though progress to reduce the backlog has been made recently.

    You can enquire directly with the health assessment agency around waiting times.

    As you reported the change in health before April 2026 you will be eligible for the higher LCWRA amount.

    Thank you so much for the fast reply its given me some reassurance I will ring the health provider next week i do hope I don't get a assessment I'm on high rate of pip for one compartment and standard for mobility also sent all relevant documents
