Dyslexia is a shared symptom of three underlying cognitive disabilities which has been explained by international research of the last few decades.
The three possible causes are Auditory Processing Disorder (APD), and or Visual Processing Disorder, and or Attention Deficit Disorder. Each individual identified as being dyslexic can have one or more of these lifelong disabilities as the underlying cognitive cause of their dyslexia symptom.
We are using an alphabet writing system, the Latin Alphabet created by the Romans during the Roman Empire for their Latin language, so that they did not have to use the Greek Alphabet. And we are using the English sound based language, speech, which was created by the Angles and Saxons after the fall of he Roman Empire, with further input from the Vikings, Normans, and may other Europeans.
Research has mentioned that 60% of dyslexics have the Temporal type of Auditory Processing Disorder as the underlying cognitive cause of their dyslexia symptom, as we are cognitively not able to use phonics
These glasses will only provide support for those who have a Visual Processing Disorder as the underlying cognitive cause of their dyslexia symptom.
Cognitive subtypes of dyslexia are characterized by distinct patterns of grey matter volume 2013
