If you could be on a TV show, which would you pick?

Inspired by SheffieldMan1976's gladiators post! Many of us said we wouldn't be all that successful at donning lycra to hang from hoops or climb moving walls and the like.

But if you could be on a TV show or quiz, which would you pick and why?

I reckon I'd be pretty good at Richard Osman's House of Games, I've watched it enough to buzz in before most of the celebrity guests. And I'd like to have a go at The 1% Club, but I don't think I'd get to the end on that one! Your pick doesn't have to be a quiz show by the way, I'm just a keen quizzer ๐Ÿ˜

What do you think?

Back in the late 80s I wanted to go on Knightmare, remember that? I just wasn't popular at secondary school, and any team would've got me "killed" in level 1, on purpose.

I did however meet Treguard, the Dungeon Master, aka Hugo Myatt, at a Comic Con in Nottingham about 5 years ago.

I also wanted to go on Catchphrase back when the late great Roy Walker did it, but I was too young, I'd go on the modern version but Stephen Mulhern's voice does my head in.

Also, a few years ago I could've gone on The Chase, but when they rang me up to invite me, it was someone Foreign on, who I couldn't understand so I kinda talked myself out of it.

@SheffieldMan1976 Knightmare isn't quite my era, but my partner has shown it to me before. Looks like a lot of fun if you can trust your friends enough! Very cool that you got to meet Hugo Myatt.

Catchphrase is a good one. I'm often screaming the answers at the people on it but knowing me, I'd fold under pressure if I was the one up there!

Do you think you'd ever apply for The Chase again?

    Mastermind

Specialist subject: The History and pretty much everything about the Shih Tzu. For every 'Pass' I'd just say "Love them" ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

It would be Crystal Maze for me, the old version & I also wanted to go on Wheel of Fortune, as I collected watches & wanted one of theirs. ๐Ÿ˜†

I actually have done, but they never get back to me, and after what happened before I don't think they ever will.

I wouldn't mind being part of the Winterwatch or Springwatch programme, it would be lovely chatting to Chris Packham I am thinking. But I could be wrong, people can be different in real life.

When I was a child i used to want to go on Best Friends and/or The Raven so much! But now as an adult I'd like to give The Chase a go!! I'm not sure which chaser I'd like to go against though!

Oooh yes @SmellyBin, I think that would be such a relaxing show to be a part of as well!

If I went on, I'd want either Mark Labett or Jenny Ryan, with all due respect to big Mark, statistically he's arguably the most beatable of all 6 Chasers, but then none of them are undefeated, even Darragh Ennis's lost a few times.

I was obsessed with Raven @Mary_Scope! But I would be a terrible warrior and would not be willing to embarrass myself in front of THE Raven. Had a bit of a crush on him back then!

For The Chase I think I'd go against Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis. I've spotted him making quite a few mistakes when I've watched his episodes. He seems like a nice guy though!

I also covet a Countdown teapot but I'm not good enough at Countdown to win. Is it very, very ugly? Yes. Do I still want it? Also yes. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I've actually met the guy off Raven at a Comic Con in Rotherham around this time last year.

Wow, you've met all sorts of people @SheffieldMan1976! Do you go to Comic Con every year?

I go to several Comic Cons in a year, in fact we went to one in York the other week, and I've got one at Doncaster Dome on the 12th of April, and in Leeds on the 1st of August.

Meeting the gorgeous Fury off Gladiators would be nice, she's deaf like I am, and wears one of those Cochlear Implants.

I've met Syvester McCoy (7th Doctor Who), Colin Baker (6th Doctor), Sophie Aldred (Assistant with the 7th Doctor), Hugo Myatt (Treguard in Knightmare), Will Mellor (Gaz in 2 Pints of Lager), Hacker T Dog, the bloke out of Raven, Chris Barrie (H in Red Dwarf), and I would've met Nicola Bryant (Assistant with the 5th and 6th Doctors) but for some reason we couldn't go on the day.

Well I hope you get to meet her @SheffieldMan1976! Sounds like you've already met some really interesting people.

That would have been an interesting one to take part in @Catherine21! I don't think you could pay me to be on Pop Idol, but I bet I would have thought about it if I was little! I remember I wanted to be on Junior Stars in Their Eyes, but never found anyone I could copy well enough ๐Ÿ˜‚
