Welcome from me too @Gina86! What kind of arts and crafts are you into?
We have a little members gallery here where people share their art or craft work. If you ever want to share your creations, we'd love to see them: Kaleidoscope
Hope you'll enjoy your time here ☺️

thank you very much @Rosie_Scope! How are you today?
I love colouring and making cards and postcards! Thank you for telling me! Do you like arts and crafts?
I will have to take a look in the gallery and maybe post some of my own!
have a good day! 😊0 -
I'm good thank you @Gina86! Yeah I'm quite a crafty person! I make cards sometimes too, mostly for my mum or grandma on their birthdays as they always appreciate it. And I also enjoy needle felting, drawing and sewing.
Would be lovely to see some of the things you've made some time ☺️

I will definitely leave some art work in the gallery! I love colouring especially colour by number! I can’t draw to save my life! 🙈
you can’t beat homemade cards can you?1 -
Absolutely, it's so nice to send something something extra special that you've spent time making.
I can't draw all that well but I find it quite relaxing so I give it a go anyway! Colouring is so zen too, I love breaking out a colouring book and sitting with a film or something on in the background.
Do you ever sell your cards or do you send them on to friends and family?
1 -
I make cards for people! I don’t sell them! Have you ever sold your homemade cards before?
what kind of things do you like to colour and draw?Yes I love putting something in the background while I colour! At the moment I am watching the good doctor on Netflix!
Do you have Netflix or Disney plus?
0 -
When I first started making them as a teenager I did sell them at a couple of fundraising events, but I haven't since. I just make them for family now.
I draw mainly flowers and plants, and it's similar with the colouring too. I like a good floral colouring book ☺️ what kind of things do you colour?
I've got both! I haven't watched The Good Doctor yet, but it's on my list. I used to watch a lot of Grey's Anatomy until a few months ago, so The Good Doctor might be a good replacement! Have you got any other recommendations?
1 -
oh yes, the good doctor is a much watch! I’m really into it!
I like colouring in quotes and anything by colour by number! I like colouring with thick bold lines! I love colour in with markers! What do you like to colour in with?
what kind of things do you like to watch and what kind of films? I love things based on a true story or something I can relate to! And of course most Disney films oh yeah and musicals!
I haven’t got any recommendations atm but I will have a think!🤔 do you have any for me?0 -
Sounds great! I mostly just use a set of brush tipped pens I got from Hobbycraft, but I have some other markers that I like to use too. The markers are so lovely to colour with, I just don't have a very good selection of colours yet so it can get limiting.
I do like medical dramas but I'll give most things a go, really! And I like a bit of crime/true crime too. I thought The Murdaugh Murders on Disney was good if you like that sort of thing - but it's very dark!
I also just watched the film "I Swear" on Netflix about a man growing up with Tourette's Syndrome. It was based on a real person's life story and while it's a tough watch in places, I thought it was fab. Some very strong language in that one, as you might expect!
What's your favourite Disney film to watch? I love a bit of Tarzan or Tangled. The nostalgia of the older films is always a nice distraction too ☺️
0 -
Oh yes I swear is good! I went to see that at the cinema when it came out!
I’m really not into dark films or anything like that! My favourite Disney films are stich, the lion king and beauty and the beast! Yes you can’t beat the older films!
What make markers are you using? I can’t get on with the brush tipped pens at all! 🙈
I’m just looking on Netflix now and the a word looks good, it definitely on my watch list! Oh the unbreakable boy is good! There’s are a lot of the investigation of Lucy letby! I don’t know if you like watching them sort of things!Do you like animation films? Do you have Amazon prime?
0 -
I think they're a brand called Shore and Marsh. I got them in the sale at Hobbycraft. Dangerous place for me to go, I end up coming out with all sorts of things 😂
The brush tip ones aren't the greatest, but I like the shape of them for colouring things. I do prefer the alcohol based markers for the way they dry and look on the page though. I just need to build up my collection a bit more!
I've seen the Lucy Letby documentary, that was an interesting watch! I'll have to have a look at the A Word and the Unbreakable Boy as well.
Yes I do have Prime. And I like animation films too.
There's a stop motion style film called Marcel the Shell with Shoes On - that's one of my favourites I've seen for a while, but I don't think it's on anywhere free anymore. Very cute though!

oh cool! It does sounds cute!
im hoping to go to hobby craft soon! The best place to get markers are from Amazon! You get a lot more and a lot more variety!
what do you watch on prime? Anything good atm?I love animated too! What is your all time favourite one?
0 -
I haven't seen too much on Prime lately. But I just had a look and it seems like they've got some good films on there at the moment so I'll have to have a proper look through this weekend. I haven't seen the musical In The Heights yet, so I'd like to watch that soon, maybe that'll be first!
I'm not sure what I'd say my favourite animated film was! I love the Studio Ghibli ones, like My Neigbour Totoro and Spirited Away. And I really enjoy Pixar films too. What's your favourite?
0 -
oh definitely Pixar ones!
You will have to give me some recommendations when you go on prime!
Are you up to much this evening? Do you like reading?
0 -
Not too much this evening, I'm quite tired! So I might just watch some TV or maybe find a film to watch.
How about you, have you got any plans for your evening?
I like reading but I'm not very good at forcing myself to sit down and do it, so I don't get all the way through many books! I listen to audio books as well sometimes, if I'm on a journey somewhere or while I'm doing something else.
0 -
oh nice! I need to get into audio books, well I want to! What kind of books do you like listening to?
I like stories about animals but I can’t read adult books as I find them to hard to read!
tonight I might watch a film with the girls or chill in my room!
Do you go on any apps? If so what on? I like colour by number apps!0
