Hi, I'm gigtryer. I have a brain tumour, caused primarily by a brain injury after I was violently attacked by three men in Hampshire in June 1989. I have since then also been violently beaten up in August 1993. Since then, I've been through the mental health system,. I've recently, since 2016, received help and support from Headway. I don't take myself too seriously nowadays, personally; I get on with the many challenges. I've been practicing the electric guitar and keyboards for three years, recently received guitar lessons. I regularly post my own music compositions to youtube. I'm looking at being successful, having my own band or joining a band. I've found that music is more than just therapeutic, it's a lifeline and a chance to be creative. I'm also a serious songwriter. Disabled doesn't mean shut. I have recently, especially in the last year, discovered a vital niche in music...
