I currently get LCW and have been referred for a wca assessment. They received my booklet on 5th jan and have assessment on 18th March.
So I called the assessors to see if they have received my UC113 as it contains my health issues.
Anyway I mentioned about April 2026 changes and they said that even if my assessment passes April 2026 I will still receive the higher rate, as I am in receipt of LCW, not a new claimant.
Can anyone verify this as I don't particularly trust the assessors as they change your answers in their report.
TIA

Hi @andylfc71 the reduced element as at April 2026 will impact new claimants only, so you should be fine 😊
