Hey StarryEyed, I'm not really sure how it does with social etiquette, but from what I've experienced when asking it about a few awkward social interactions I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't do too badly just as long as you let it know what country you live in, and for more context, provide it with how the culture is in your specific area.

That Ai definition of a liminal space is pretty much spot on compared to the definitions that I've read, I just personally don't think that for a place to feel liminal (for me) that it needs to be somewhere that is usually full of people or a transitional place (like stairways, hallways, airports, etc), but all definitions that I've read say that they're empty places that are usually full of people and transitional places.

Those two pictures are awesome btw, I've actually saved them. Where did you find them?

This picture that I got Ai to make doesn't feel that liminal to me (but maybe it will to others?), but it still has a similar weird vibe about it.

Hi @Ross1975 ! When I asked about your opinion on ChatGPT advice on social etiquette, that's what I was referring to, when you said you asked about a social situation. So did you say where you live for your advice?

That's awesome that you like the AI definition! Cool!

My two last pics (as all of them so far) are from Pinterest. Look at all the stuff they have....

    Quite impressive!

So I've been thinking if there is liminal music and this is what AI says....

Right away I thought of Brian Eno who I know is famous for ambient music. But I've never listened to him. I just know him because I love Daniel Lanois, who he's worked a lot with, including on one of the best albums ever - Joshua Tree by U2. So I looked him up and he put out three albums last year including one called Liminal. I put them in a playlist and set it to shuffle and it's soooooo awesome. Here they are…

Hey StarryEyed, I don't think I did mention where I lived. I will totally check out Liminal Destinations on Pinterest, thanks.

The Brian Eno stuff is quite good. There's a lot of liminal music around and I like it a lot, here's an example.

I find this one really comforting, I'd love to be there.

    Totally!

Hi @Ross1975 Fog is such an in between state - perfect for liminal spaces IMHO. Awesome image! The song you posted is fab. I've been listening to their album "Nonexistent Songs." Fantastic! Thank you. 😊 Here's a perfect song for your orange image. I wonder ... Is it a yacht or a house in the woods? Great job! 👍🏼

This has the same kind of feel to it as the hotel picture that Rachel posted. It looks fake like CGI, but maybe it is real?

Just catching up on everything, I've been off ill the past couple of weeks. I found another one with water which really creeps me out. It's a real pool and the yellow things in the water are for small children to stand on. They just add to the creepiness for me! I also think it's the lack of edge to hold on to in the corner. It just doesn't feel 'right'. What do you think?

Hi, Rachel, that picture definitely feels 'off' to me too. I don't think I ever would've guessed what those yellow things are for if you hadn't said. I quite like the little cartoons on the wall. I wonder what that roller thing is for?

Speaking of cartoons on the wall.

@Ross1975, my first thought is the roll would be for covering the pool when it's not use, but it seems way too high up the wall. Is that a duck on that wall holding a hotdog!? Very creepy.

Yeah @Catherine21, even though they've added pictures of cute animals it still feels clinical.

I'm not sure what it is, looks like maybe it is styled on The Simpsons.

Great shots Rachel and Ross. Here are some more "playful" liminal spaces - an oymoron me thinks!! 😊
