Pip capita
So ive phoned capita this morning as its been 9 weeks since " a health professional is looking at your claim " the lady explained that the 11th of feb was when they decided they were going to do a paper assessment and apparently asked the hospital for medical records . Im so relieved I may not have to have a assessment but also the lady had said that she had written on my record that if there was at any point they needed to contact me not to ask about past or trauma. I have c-ptsd and I've been so worried about this so im proud that I was able to phone and request all this information, hopefully I have my news soon x

I'm proud of you too 😊 I also struggle with phone calls due to anxiety but today I managed to call a plasterer! We've got this 💪 I hope you get the results soon.

You're very much like me because I would have cried too! Completely agree that you feel trapped. I was able to make that phone call earlier because I saw an issue (cracks in the wall) and wanted to solve it. Usually, I'd spend weeks worrying about how to phrase things to the person and worry about finding a suitable time they could come over. It's exhausting 😅 You can relax now 😊

Well least youve phoned and tried to sort the problem i get really frustrated with myself that I cant deal with situations . I did try yesterday and I ended up putting the phone down ! But I managed it today , she could tell how relived I was i think she could hear my voice shaking and I said at the start I was extremely nervous , I just hope they will have all thw evidence they need now . My psychiatrist wrote a letter from me really explaining into details what my day to day life is , so im ao greatful for her xx
