He's one of the stronger ones actually, other than Anne Hegarty, although to be fair, out of all 6 Chasers, none of them are undefeated.

I used to watch that, predates The Bill on ITV but was quite a bit similar.

It'd be considered a bit dated nowadays.

Yep, I can remember coming Home from Taekwondo on a Wednesday and not being stiff as a board due to all the kicking, and sparring against tiny little kids who can't be much older than 6 if that.

I can remember going to the pub at 11am and knocking on the door when it was 12-2 opening on a Sunday and going right through to the early hours of Monday morning!

At other times I was out at 7pm till the sun came up.

Now I go to bed at the time I used to go out🤣

Could never get the cap bombs to work well, so used a stone instead 😁

We used to scratch the caps off the paper (gunpowder) and collect it all in a pot and after about 20 cap rolls, we had quite a pile of powder - which we set off in one go with a match - it wasn't explosive but burnt quite fast and smokily - caps were 5p per roll!
