If you were going to a comic con/fancy dress do, who/what would you go as?

Topic.

Personally I've been going to Comic Cons since August 2013, as various TV and movie characters such as Batman/Superman/Shazam etc.

In fact, if it comes in time, I'm going to the next one in a custom made Mark from Battle of the Planets (known in Japan as Science Team Gatchaman) costume with a big cape and stuff.

How about you guys? Or would you be too nervous to dress up in public?

I love cosplay so much, but I'm not bold enough to pull anything off, go to conventions atleast once a year

I think I'd like to go as Herman Munster.

I love making and wearing costumes, but I don't get the chance very often.

I've got a really fun costume I made for Halloween based on Nadja from the TV series What We Do In The Shadows, so I think that would be my go-to fancy dress costume! I don't know if I'd be brave enough to wear it outside of Halloween though and the vampire teeth were a menace to keep in!

I'd love to dress up as a character with a long sweeping cape too. Anything that has good swirling or twirling potential is always fun.

I've been known to go as a Vampire for Halloween myself.

    We'd look great together.

I’d probably go as the 10th or 12th Doctor from Doctor Who šŸ•°ļøšŸ‘” suit, coat, sonic screwdriver šŸ”§ sorted

Love this! I went to my first comic con with my brother last year. We're both quite shy so didn't brave dressing up but we were both in awe of how amazing everyone looked - some really great costumes. And we did say to each other, next time we're going in costume but I've still no idea what yet. Lara Croft always sticks out for me because growing up I always idolised her.

I've never been to a Comic Con but I was in Cardiff last year on the day it was on and it was so fun to see people enjoying themselves and dressed up in the different costumes!

I've seen people dressing up as Pitbull and I really wanted to do this with my friends this Halloween but unfortunately, it did not happen!! Maybe this year!

Love the Pitbull wigs (ironic because there's no hair šŸ˜…). Especially the big groups of women in them. Looks so fun

I've seen ridiculously expensive third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) costumes on eBay, as much as I want one, unfortunately they only call me Rich by name lol.

I once went as Grampa Munster to a Halloween Party, still got the costume somewhere.

If there's any events local in October I might try and attend (although preferably NOT in a Nightclub)
