Going abroad advice
Hi everyone
I am my adult daughter's appiontee.
She's has autism and schizophrenia she is on medication and stable , My mother lives in France she as ask if we can visit and my daughter really wants to see her grandma .
I have booked flights and we are going for 5 days my daughter is on pip ,and Lcwra she has no work commitments . I just want to know do I have to inform UC I'm getting conflicting advise any advice please .

Hi @rita444. You don't need to tell them about your 5 day trip but if you feel more comfortable doing so, you can pop a note in your journal. You are allowed up to a month abroad without it having an impact.

We told them last year that we were going away to New York and taking our daughter with us. Just put a note in the journal. That was all we had to do.

I would always recommend telling them. It does not impact her claim, but not telling them can have consqeunces.
