Frustrated with GP evidence for LCWRA

I have just looked at the form my GP practice provided for the request for LCWRA application. I receive standard care and mobility PIP. A process that totally wiped me out last year. I was particularly struggling so I decided that I needed to apply for LCWRA on universal credit. My usual sympathetic GP just retired so I had to go through a very long detailed description of my symptoms with a different GP in order to get another fit note and now I've just seen that all they wrote on the form for universal credit is multiple sclerosis, fatigue, pain. I could just cry because I know that I will have to go through another phone call because the GP hasn't passed on any of the information I gave. I think GP's have more important things to do than fill out forms but I know the toll that stress takes on my body so I wish they could have just written a few more words.

Really sorry to hear that @wonkydaze, that's frustrating. It can be a real lottery when it comes to GPs. Some are fantastic and others can leave you feeling a bit unheard or ignored.

They'll still look at other evidence for your LCWRA, so while the GP form is useful to them I'm sure they'll consider some of the other things you've told them when they're making their decision. Fingers crossed it all goes okay for you.
