A Sad Day For Me Today.

It is the first anniversary of Toby my little dog's death today.

He was extra special as he was my daughters dog and got us both through some difficult times.

He was 15 years old when he died which was a good age. He is still missed.

    Thank you @Mike_Whovian he did give us a lot of joy. He was very easy going most of the time but just now and again he would dig his heels in and nothing would make him move.

    I know you also lost your daughter - you described this recently in another post which I didn't comment on but read with great sadness.

    I did lose my daughter and Toby was my last link with her which made it very hard when he died.

    I'm sorry for your loss @Bluebell21. I think when it comes to grief, it never full leaves us, but it changes, just like the love we shared remains too.
