Why is NHS counselling helpful, but the other part has failed to help?

I have been getting NHS counselling for my anxiety but I got some tools that I can now use for now but for now the only issue that not NHS counseling has not helped me with is my mother's anxiety and keeps trying to help me when I'm overwhelmed. I have also been also on Sertline 50gm but it is only helping with my anger and not helping with my anxiety which can get very intense sometimes. I'm not sure what to do. I did also talk to my younger sister about the issue. Is that when okay? We did talk about anxiety and being overwhelmed and I did ask what do you think about what my NHS counselling said you need a bit of anxiety and stress , which is can be okay but that is not promblen is when I get very intense anxiety . This is going to be my last NHS counselling . Also did I get a smart ring to call ultrahuman air ? I can handle some stress by playing video games. What is the reason that some parts of NHS has to be okay with getting tools to manage my anxiety but not help with my mum and I have complicated relationships . During my NHS counselling he said to be more emotion and directed to my mum about my emotion and feel but feel like it doesn't work while my mum is overwhelm or anxious.

Indeed, when I'm anxious, I play video games and beat virtual people up instead of going out and knocking real ones into next Wednesday.

Either that or I belt out a classic Rock song on a Karaoke website.
