Hi iv just read an article in THE CANARY about Dwp MR are they going to be stopping the mandatory Reconsideration and just going straight to tribunals. If anyone has read it can you please enlighten me i don't understand it. Thankyou.

    The DWP has had a secret target of 80% of MRs had tto uphold the original assessment decision.. Today they claim that this target was purely internal and under pressure from politicians have announced that the target will be abandoned. It is not clear whether staff will now scrutinise all MRs properly, whether they have set a different target, or whether nothing will change at all and this is just one more lie.
