If anyone claiming ESA & PIP while waiting to be moved on to U.E.. Will payments be reduced
or stay the same, also if savings held in an account are either low or to high. Will the DWP stop payments. While claiming the above & you end up in A & E just for a single days stay.
Do you have to inform the dread of DWP with money being denied.

Hi SOB
PIP is non means tested and unaffected by ESA or UC
Are you in a live UC area or service area ?
Savings over £6000 will affect income related ESA but not contribution based
You do not have to inform DWP for a one day stay in hospital

Hi @SOB,
Have you seen the Universal Credit information on the Scope website? There are some frequently asked questions too which might provide additional help. We'll be updating the website content regularly as things progress.
If you need advice specific to your own circumstances, contact the helpline and we'll see if we can help.
Best wishes
Debbie
