DLA to PIP advice

Hi can you give me some advise please, my husband has been DLA for years, caring medium and mobility full, he has just filled in the form for a PIP and has to go for an assessment, us this usual practice.

Yes this is quiet normal unfortunately
Please be aware that DLA and PIP are very different in criteria and no way does having a DLA award mean that your husband will meet the criteria for PIP
Have a look at the B&W self test to get an understanding of the points system, descriptors and the criteria for an award
