MLA?

I have previously posted about having to go through the process of mandatory reconsideration for my mum and was wondering if there would be any benefit in me speaking to a local MLA about it? Or is this generally left to appeal stage? Want to do everything I can do try and give her the best chance of having the decision changed at this stage as she does not want it to go to appeal, she couldn't cope with it.

    what ever help you c an get is always a benefit to you always get as much info help as you can

    MLA = Members of the Legislative Assembly they are elected by, and represent the people of, Northern Ireland (also in Wales?). MLAs pass laws and examine policy on transferred matters like health, education, the environment, social work and housing. They scrutinise the work of Ministers and hold Departments to account.
