just come across this comment and it made me chuckle ????A DWP spokesperson said: ‘We’re committed to ensuring everyone has a good experience of PIP. PIP assessments look at how people are affected by their disability or health condition over the majority of days in a year, rather than just assessing ability on a single day NOPE THEY DO IT IN 20MINS TO AN HOUR ON DAY OF ACESSMANT ???

Even I can't assesses myself over a year and I live with me.
They did take medical evidence into account on mine, but dismissed anything I didn't have evidence for
You are not suffering with anxiety because you are not on medication for it and you have no specialist input. First part false second part true.1 -
To qualify for PIP a condition should be in place for three months and likely to last for a further nine months ie. a year

Thanks CR you have a way of explaining the criteria simply, if only claimants would read posts and descriptors and do a self test it may,would save them a lot of stress and prepare better for their f2f1
