Getting esa and pip

if my pip goes up does my esa stop because my condition has change please

    Hi Tracy1965.
    If your pip award goes up this will not stop your esa.In fact if you are awarded the higher rate care component of pip this may entitle you to an extra premium on top of esa called the severe disability premium.

    PIP and ESA are not related .so neither has a direct effect on the other.
    PIP can passport you to extra benefits and premiums if you have an income related element to your ESA claim. It will also depend on whether you live alone or have a partner and whether you have standard or enhanced DL

    @Tracy1965, as usual CR has correctly gave the extra Infomation needed to get extra help if needed and if you qualify for it.
