What to do next?

I have a 14 year old boy who was diagnosed last year, i have asked his senco at school for advice on what i do next but i've not heard anything back.    Could i please get some help on what to do after diagnosis.  ie do i register him disabled?   Do i apply for dla?   Please help?

    You mentioned your son had been diagnosed, do you mind me asking what he has been diagnosed with? Then ourselves and our friendly community members can do our best to help you. 

    There is no register for disability, so this isn't something you need to consider. However, you may like to check out the online benefits calculator to see if there is anything you can claim. Have a look, and do come back to us with any questions!
