Powered wheelchair and top priority services

I now have a powered wheelchair as well as a mobility scooter. Do i need to inform my housing association that I have them, for instance if we have an issue with the utilities or other issues with our home. Do they have to put me as top priority to attend? Likewise the same for the power suppliers.

Thank you @alexwhite. What I'm concerned about is my housing association are particularly bad at attending when an emergency is required of the electric and or gas. So as a vulnerable person who's dependant on equipment, can i register this with them to force them to make me a priority when it comes to repairs.

Hi @Chrissie141010

I think you need to register with the Priority Services Register. This offers extra free services to disabled people, pensioners and those with long-term ill health. It is run by energy suppliers.

Services which might be available include:

Advance notice of planned power cuts
Priority support in an emergency

You can tell your housing association too but PSR is your best bet, Alex
