I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome over 5 years a go now.
I am a poet and artist they keep me going now that I can no longer work. My profession was health care assistant first in the community then in a private run home looking after vulnerable adults suffering from dementia, I have that up last year after 9 years, feelings of isolation are not nice, I am married to the most understanding husband in the world.
I would like to wish everyone a blessed day.

Hi Sisjen
i have Fibromyalgia and CFS which started around 6 years ago and was only recently confirmed after extensive tests to rule out other conditions.
CFS is a awful condition and how it affects you, most of the time even family doubt your symptoms when you say i cannot get the energy to get out of bed some days
If you need any support i am here to help.0 -
Hi @sisjen and welcome to the community. We have a lot of Fibromyalgia and CFS sufferers here, so you're very much among friends.
If you should be interested, I recently launched a gallery here for artists/creatives on Scope. It's at https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/41283/kaleidoscope-our-own-gallery-for-members-art-work-crafts-and-photographs#latest
I look forward to getting to know you,
Warmest best wishes,
