Hi my grandson is 7 and is being looked at for autism spectrum
At the moment he is almost being treated as naughty, which is out of character for him really.
My daughter is getting so upset and is talking about giving up her part time job to home school him ? I feel this would cause more problems with his social skills ? I want to help but don't know where to start ? Any advice would be appreciated.

An education, health and care (EHC) plan is for children and young people aged up to 25 who need more support than is available through special educational needs support.
EHC plans identify educational, health and social needs and set out the additional support to meet those needs.
You can ask your local authority to carry out an assessment if you think your child needs an EHC plan.
