with my condition walking is painful. but I have 2 small dogs which I take for short walks every other day. but I am fed up with the weight I have put on. have been told swimming would be great for me, but I can't swim and I cant find a local place that does adult swimming lessons. any suggestions welcome

I am not sure to suggest! Do you drive? Maybe there are swimming lessons in your neighbouring town. What do you think @Sam_Scope

have managed to find a pool half hour drive away. have missed the start of this session so have signed up for emails. wish me luck lol1

if you haven't already done so check out if your GP is involved with 'social prescribing' (it is available in some areas but not nationwide). 'social prescribing' is when a health professional makes a non-clinical referral to somewhere like a gym, diet club etc, so that a patient can get free access to a service that will benefit their health and well-being. just a quick update, I have signed up for an aqua rehabilitation course where over 12 weeks they will show me exercises in water to suit me. I start that in september

I have started my aqua rehabilitation and I love it. being able to move in water like I can't on land. I know how hard I am working by the aches the next day which is great. I will be a size 12 again lol
