I have been in recite of DLA. At the full rate since the early 90s. I was awarded it for life. With the introduction of PIP l have got to reapply. I am worse now than i was back then but I am worried i will loose my benefit along with the car. Without which I wìll be completly house bound. Has anyone had to reapply and what am I likly to face.

Hi jjennyallan and welcome
DLA and PIP use different criteria for awards.
Have a look at the B&W self test

Hi @jjennyallan, and welcome to the community!
The application process can feel really worrying, but we're here to support you wherever we can. Have you started your application? The link provided by CR above is great, and Citizens Advice have some great guidance on filling in the PIP form. Do keep us updated and we'll advise where we can!0 -
If you 65 or over on 8th april 2013 you will remain on DLA. If you were younger than 65 on that date you will be invited to claim PIP.
