in PIP, DLA, ADP and AA
okay its more a question than advice post i am 64 and am awarded 10years without review so does it change as i hit 65

    @sweet Nope you will keep it as it is now and carry over retirement, and you've been awarded 10years. Well done.

    yhanks was a hard slog but i supose because they checked award and adjusted amount it helped

    when I reached 65 i was told I need to apply for pip , I was on DLA.  I applied thinking my benefits would just transfer,   I was downgraded from higher rate mobility to standard rate.   the reason for this although I had enough points and the assesment concurred .....I would not receive it if I was awaded it because I was over 65!! ...I had received higher rate until I was 67 ...

    @sweet Glad it will help you now and it certainly is hard work, but you can now relax a little, now go and enjoy your peace.  Must ask if it's ongoing award you will only get reviewed after 10 years light touch. If just a 10 year award you will get reviewed a year before. 

    @Soobooboo as sweet has already been awarded PIP at 64 and before retirement and given a 10 year award, it won't affect any changes after retirement and then only can after the next assessment at the end of this long award of 10 years. So in affect your get both Enhanced it will continue long into retirement.

    If you have a review after you are 65 and are receiving the standard rate of Mobility I believe, and no doubt someone will let you know if I am, you cannot ever increase your mobility element to Enhanced. It can stay the same, standard or go to nothing.

    ongoing i think as it was 10year no review required but i live in hope i am here till then
