So my husband has been getting disability living allowance since the age of 7 he's now 21 he had to apply for pip and has been rejected and hasn't been awarded pip
My question is obs we are going to let it go to a mandatory reconsideration just wondered how successful these are and how long so they take?

Lots of information, advice. Benefits can be complex and confusing.
Consider speaking to CAB for anything regarding benefits. Always useful.
Hope that helps.
Take care

M R 'S have a low success rate and can take up to 8 weeks to get a decision and if you have to go to tribunal a year wait is not unusual0

It's about 17% success rate for MR.

If you go through MR and are unsuccessful you may be able to go to tribunal appeal and we have lots of information and support around that.
We have some videos that might help too
