Brain tumour and new wheelchair user

Hi all
My name is Lorraine I'm 45 and I'm from somerset. I had a large brain tumour removed in 2016 which left me which left sided hemiplegia and speech dysphasia 
I have to now use an electric wheelchair to mobilise 
Although I'm a learning disability nurse and I'm used to using wheelchairs its another thing using one all the time

    Thanks for sharing this with us- I'm sure many other members will be able to relate. I started using a powerchair part-time in May and I'm definitely still adapting! Do get involved with the community, and if we can be of assistance, just let us know.
