I decided to object to being told to hand over money at work - £8000 with a 9mm pistol pushed in my face.
After a fight to try to get the weapon out of his hands, his mate gave me the good news with a metal baseball bat across the back of my head which sent me to my knees. Still refusing to open the safe I received two bullets in the stomach for my trouble as they just walked away.
That was the start of my deterioration of my health.
Had DLA High Mobility & Care since it happened - 1995.
Had 3 failed PIP assessments in the past 5 years - now 70 and gave up as I had no more fight left in me. I just don't know what the hell the government want from me.
