    have secondary progressive ms, wheelchair dependent. I was a Nurse and psychotherapist until 5yrs ago.  I am a Councillor in Salford where I live and Deputy CeremonialI Mayor 2018/19.  I am an active member of Equality + Diversity Forum,  Salford Disability Forum, and Access To All Areas. What about yourself?

    Hi Jane - busy for sure!  It keeps me in places where my voice can be heard and where issue on disability are kept on agenda, people are included.

    We would love to hear your opinions on Equality! I am deaf, partially sighted, diagnosed with Ataxia in February, battling Transverse Myelitis and currently learning to walk again :)

    equality for me is that everybody should be seen as an individual being, have the right of dignity, respect, to take personal responsibility (or have somebody to advocate on their behalf).  I'm sure there are much more involved in my definition but off the top of my head this is it.

    Like what have written as an introduction to the community. 

    Understand does need to be more equality in the community.  Barriers and obstacles need to be overturned. Glad your here.
