My friend is 63 years old and have very bad back pain she work full time and want to stop working but worried about how the bills and her rent going to get pay. So can anyone tell if there's any help or benefit she is able to get if she stop working or reduce her hours at work waiting for your reply

Hi,She needs to speak to her employers about reasonable adjustments. See link.If this isn't possible then SSP is claimed first for 28 weeks before ESA can be claimed. To claim SSP she will need a fit/sick note from her GP.Claiming housing benefit will depend on circumstances.
