Hi I'm new here so I may get things wrong. I have heart disease and my doctor has advised that I am unable to return to full time work, I can't afford to reduce my pay can I claim any benefits?

Hi,PIP isn't means tested but to claim this it will totally depend on how your conditions affect you daily. Take a look at the PIP self test, it's purely just a guide and it doesn't mean you'll score those points. Evidence will be needed to support your claim. https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-independence-payment-pip/pip-self-testClaiming any other benefits will totally depend on your circumstances. Do you live with a partner that works, any dependent children, how many hours per week you work, do you own your own home or rent it etc. You can put your details in a benefits calculator to see what comes up. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/
