3 months ago, the doctor increased my dosage to 4 milligrams a day. It was working fine, then I decided to cut it down. THe pain gor worse, but I still wanted to take less. I added a lot of Ibuprofen and wasble to just tolerate it. I was able to stretch the prescription over 3 months. The pain was awful. I think I wanted to prove to myself that I could get along without a narcotic.

I can't. I need a new prescription but am afraid he won't give me one because I tp threought the old one for 3 months.

What can I say to him to explain?

    Hi @cracker
I would just explain to the GP as you have done above, good luck and let us know how you get on :)
