My friend is on PIP after going to appeal last year, she is now worried as that date on the letter is 6th October for renewal, they haven’t wrote to her, can they just stop her money? TIA

Hi,She needs to look at the award letter to see exactly what it says about her award. If it states 2 dates with a review 1 year before it ends then her PIP won't stop but they'll soon be sending the review forms. If it says an end date with no review then she should have been contacted 3 months before the award ends, as her money will stop on 6th October.0

Then her money will stop on 6th October because there's no review just an end date. She needs to ring PIP and ask them to send her more forms. They should have contacted her 3 months before the award is due to end.

They should have but honestly can you actually rely on the DWP to think ahead and do the right thing?poppy123456 said:Then her money will stop on 6th October because there's no review just an end date. Like everything else it is left to the claimant to seek out the answers and be proactive - shame for those that can't.
