Pip advice

My son has autism and has been getting pip at the enhanced rate for care since 2015. It was originally awarded up to and including March 2019. In August this year he had a review and they said he would have a decision in 3 or 4 weeks. He's been waiting for his letter and had nothing come, so this week he phoned them and asked about the decision, they said a decision was made and his file had been shelved. They said someone would ring him and a letter would be sent. No one phoned him and today he got a letter saying he was no longer entitled to receive pip and they were stopping it from 25th September. (When in the original letter it says he had got it until March next year.) Can they do This? Also my son's condition and the amount of support he needs on a daily basis has not changed at all over the last 3 years. Even the assessor said he still needs support. I just can't understand how he can go from reieving enhanced rate for care to zero. It's not like autism just goes away. Does anyone have any advice please.

    Sorry @juel to hear this and I know how upsetting all this is, yes they can superseded the original award and cut it sort in your case from the 3 years as now a new decision was made on his award.

    Oncee you've received the rejection letter the only option is to do a MR mandatory reconsideration is your only option now and it must be done within 28 days of receiving the letter, I advise doing the mandatory in writhing and send it recorded.

    You need to Mandatory Reconsideration and point out all you disagree with and why.
    I am at Tribunal stage so far waited nearly 20 weeks.
