Refused PIP November 2018

So I had my f2f in my home on the 30th
October.. a male who wasn’t very nice... 

they have not listened to anything I have said

i don’t go out my home without family and even then it’s in a car, I don’t budget my own money.. there’s lots of things I can’t do. 

I have bipolar and I won’t go into my illnesses too much.

anyway

what do I do next? I’m not good at writing letters or ringing people.

    I’m so sorry to hear about your “refusal”

    You have got 4wks from the date off the original letter.

    My points add to around 14/16. 

    I just dont don’t know how they have worked out that I don’t qualify. I’ve never been in this situation before. I was working fulltime till February.

    i don’t have a local cab. That’s why I’m so worried and unsure how I’m going to fill out the paperwork

    Take the next step, which is the Mandatory Consideration, and that will give you time to explore how to go about the tribunal.

    How did you get a home visit with no advice?
    It is not easy to get a home visit.

     Mandatory reconsideration is the next step. (MR)
    Have you asked for a copy of the report from the Home visit?
    If not, do it.
    Start collecting doctors letters and any other information you can find to support your claim.

    This is normal, don't panic and just take it one step at a time.

    Yes, this happens to most of us. It took me a year from getting the refusal to being awarded PIP. You have to keep at it. It is worth it, believe me. People here will support and help you. Do not give up. Many here have been in your situation and understand how helpless you feel at the moment.

    asher3 I was shocked at the home visit myself to be honest.

    thats the only positive out of it.

    I've had home visits twice with no advice from anyone. Living in two different areas. I use a wheelchair full time though so it could be that both assessment centres were not accessible in some way. I think that if there is more than one floor even with a lift you would be offered HV as they wouldn't have an evac chair for visitors.

    I had a home visit and got refused first time round. I did a reconsideration thing, got refused again so ended up going to court. It certainly wasn't easy as I very rarely leave the house but I knew I was entitled to it so wanted to fight for it. I eventually got the decision over turned about abut 10 months. It's not easy but if you believe you deserve it, then fight for it. Good luck xx
