49 week tribunal wait and struggling financially

I am currently at the courts tribunal stage .waitingggg for a date. Said it can be as long as 49 weeks .surely this is false .plz any help out there.ime living on peanuts and can't get help with my condition because of financial crisis

    Hi,

    Some areas have backlogs of about 1 year maybe more, so yes unfortunately that sounds about right.

    Hi @cooper1981, it’s the same for me, 30+ weeks however I recently found out that due to my condition worsening since my first claim I can put in a new claim. Not sure if that is an option for you?

    Before you start a new claim please get some expert advice. Any decision made on a new claim will overrule a Tribunal decision. A worsening of condition doesn't mean you'll qualify and go onto have a successful award. If you were previously refused and are waiting a Tribunal for a refusal, starting another claim is not the answer. Re-applying using the same evidence you previously used could see another refusal.
