LCW is about your ability to do any type of work and this is what you'll be assessed on not on any diagnosis. They'll ask you questions about how your conditions affect you and base it on the work you could do, not the work you can do. Good luck.

Best of luck for your assessment. Some GPs really do have problems with pain that they cannot feel, you know the truth about your condition. Sometimes we don't explain ourselves well. Havew you tried seeing a different GP ?

PIP is a test of functionality in daily activities and mobility, something that a GPs opinion or diagnosis is of less importance than your own anecdotal evidence

A lot of people hate the fact the DWP want to do these F2F, but if you imagine a world where they only ever relied on diagnosis and GP support, all those of us without a firm diagnosis and/or unsupportive GP would be screwed. This system is good to catch those people.
On 3 different assessments now I have had assessors who were not happy with the way the NHS were not helping me enough, one of their letters triggered my GP to react and do something. My last assessment mid November, she sent a letter to my GP (about me waiting for a referral for 18 months thats not even been submitted) and now I have an appointment next week as a result of that.0 -
