How do I get a blue badge?

How do I get assessed for a blue badge and would this entitle me towards applying for mobility driving.

    Hi and welcome

    There are two ways to obtain a blue badge
    1) be in receipt of a PIP mobility award with 8 points minimum awarded in the moving around catagory
    2) you can apply directly to your local council which will then require an assessment

    A blue badge has no relevance to motorbility. You will need an enhanced PIP award to qualify
