Hi all
I'm the mother to an amazing 6 year old with right sided hemiplegia and still relies on me quite a lot.
Have any of you had children after your CP angel and how did you make it work? Thank you!

As you probably know I live with quadriplegic CP, my mum had two more children after me who are not CP. It takes some organisation with all of the equipment etc but it can be done!

Thanks @pink_princess and hello again @Richard_Scope!
That is very encouraging to hear. That was my concern regarding equipment if I need a buggy and a wheelchair when I am out alone. However I'm sure there is some way around this. And would you say you benefited from having siblings when you were younger?0 -
Definitely yes! I couldn't imagine being with out them! There are solutions to the issues of eqiuipmentand getting around, for example one sibling stood at the back of my chair, youngest strapped in on my lap with Mum pushing!

Hi @RaeWitter,
I had a baby (1 year old now) after her brother who has CP. he’s now 6. It can be tough at times with a baby and a child who despite being older is also fully dependent on you...but you get used it. As above posters have said; need a lot of planning and patience!2
