Pip letter regarding information gave at assesment

I was awarded pip in December so decision maker clearly read everything the assor wrote down so why would I be sent a letter five months after the assent saying " in your assment you mentioned you were hospitalise" surely the descion maker saw what I said why wait five months to ask me ? I'm paranoid now as if what we are they going to ask me about after th Award has been giv n I was only in hospital for a day.

    I’m very very sorry to read about your current problems with your “pip assessment”

    I do think that we need some expert advice as this does I believe fall a long way outside of our remits!!!!!!!

    Don’t worry tough as we have got some “Benefit Advisors”

    These I believe are best placed in offering you “help/advice”

    I will forward your post onto them straightaway.

    They only help us out a few hours a week so please please come back to me “ASAP”

    The only reason that they are asking is that if you are in Hospital for more than 2 weeks you cannot claim PIP for the time you are Hospitalised but it will not affect you if you was only in for a day 
    It is only the DWP double checking in case they have overpaid you
