Still awaiting ESA to be transferred onto Universal Credit Claim?

Hi

Its beens 2 months since I claimed Universal Credit after change of circumstance which I had to off ESA and UC. But since then they've taken ages to transfer my ESA Decision over UC. Jobcenter worker has called me twice and is confused herself thingking why is taking long to transfer over claim even though ESA claim has been closed down. I've spoken to universal credit and they said that they are awaiting for ESA to send information of claim and I phone ESA they said Universal credit need to request information off them. Any help or advice what to do?

    The left doesn’t know what the right is doing! I’m on UC have an ESA and a PIP Appeal! The Judge at the PIP Appeal was confused and said I should be on PIP! I see my Dr every 2 weeks, send Fit Notes every 28 days, my Epilepsy Specialist  sends in a letter too - but the Nurse Practitioner who saw me once said “Fit for Work”. Anyway hope all works out well for you.

    I’m now in touch with Amber Rudd’s Office - specifically because the Govt questionnaire which the Nurse Practictioner’s follow does not cater for a brain disorder such as Epilepsy. we can count, stand up, sit down etc but ask me to tell you when my next Aura or Fit will be and I can’t....

    You need to ring ESA and ask to speak to a case manager, someone will then call you back within 48 hours. Once they ring you, you need to ask them to send your ESA award across to UC and tell them what group you were in when claiming the ESA. This should have only taken a few weeks at the most.

    So please explain why I receive UC but have an Appeal for both ESA and PIP?

    The lady who rang me 8 times from the DWP last night before I answered couldn’t tell me!

    My reply above was for AFB because they started the thread and asked the question.

    There's a special regulation that's for those that are a danger to yourself and others around you and is a direct route into the Support Group, if the other descriptors don't apply. It's called reg 35 for Support Group and reg 29 for WRAG. When filling out the forms, if the questions don't apply to you then you can add extra information and mention this reg35 and why you think you're a danger to yourself and others around you. One of these regulations is most likely what the Tribunal will look at.

    My Q was why do I receive UC and but have only recently had an ESA tribunal where it was recommended that the benefit I should be looking at is PIP, which I’ve been turned down for 3 times.  I’ve just had an email to say my latest PIP Appeal is processing. All I’m looking for is justice for people like myself with brain disorders such as Epilepsy.

    I am aware of that! BTW you asked before about calling you Brian - after your number of posts 6,907 the name Brian Blessed always appears. Mea Culpar for thinking your name could be Brian! Anyway, I’ll get on with fighting the DWP and their inability, at present, to understand Epilepsy.

    No need to take that attitude. Regarding that other post, i was just confused why you called me Brian and wasn't sure if you were talking to me, which was why i asked.

    I think the best thing poppy should do is change the Brian blessed thingy so people don't get confused that will help any chance of confusion that might lead to arguments which we don't need on this forum . Thank you

    I did contact ESA and they've refused to speak to me as they said you're a universal credit claimant but also U spoke universal credit and they refuse to send another request over about my claim. I need help and advice. I'm really struggling and I'd phoned CAB which they said due to funding they cannot help in my area. So I dobt know who to turn to for help. Any advice would be helpful.

    ESA need to send over the details and to do this you need to speak to a case manager from ESA because UC are sending the requests but ESA are ignoring them. You need to request a call back from the case manager, they are the only ones that can action this and send the details across. I have no idea what they refused to speak to you. Ring again and ask for the case manager to call you back and tell them the reasons why.
