Advice on Lower back degenerative disc disease

Hi all just found this site and looking for some advice on Lower back degenerative disc disease I've had it for around 6 years now been to gp had x rays etc phisio chiropractor etc but to no avail gp just keeps perscribing naproxen which works but I don't want to be taking them long term I'm looking for a safer alternative

    No the gp didn't seem bothered when I asked about alternatives a few months ago

    I think this would be beneficial to you, are you able to consult another GP for a second opinion?

    Ah...I understand it is frustrating however keep trying to get a referral, hoping a doctor listens soon!

    I'll have another go at speaking to them and ask if I could be refferd to pain management

    My husband has a degenerative back since 2017 an operation wasn't successful cage put inabd bolts and screws. A follow appointment has been cancelled a few times and rebooked for March 24.
