Am I on the right ESA?

Hi iv no idea about esa. Im on contributions based and claim industrial injuries. Im disabled and i get full pip. I worked a few years and paid my stamp,but due to accident at work i had to retire ,im just wondering if im on the rite esa ? I was on incapacity benefit then changed to esa,am i claiming the rite benefit any help will be appreciated angie .im in the support group.

    Hi,

    Industrial injuries benefit doesn't affect contributions based benefits but it's counted as income £1 for £1 when claiming Income related tops ups on your ESA. It's difficult to advise without knowing all your circumstances. I'd advise a visit to your local advice centre for a full benefits check.
