PIP

in PIP, DLA, ADP & AA
I am just seeing as someone who needs PIP, how does a single person live without the financial help.

    Hello and welcome, PIP is a benefit to claiments who have health and mobility problems. And to be able to claim PIP you have to fill in a lengthy application form then go for a face to face acessment where you will be accessed as to see if you meet the PIP descriptiors and s tepore sent to DWP decision makers who will grant an award if applicable to your acessment report.

    Obviously I know all that and from having brain surgery to remove two tumours and going from not be able to walk, eat, talk I have gone through intensive rehabilitation, I have done this for 8 years. I believe I have meet the “descriptors” but have been let down by the system

    Have you been refused PIP ?
    If so have you appealed via MR and tribunal ?

    I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling, @GregBastin. 

    I know it's not a permanent solution, but there's lots of information on extra help with money and costs on this Citizens Advice page. I really hope you find something that helps and that your tribunal is successful.

    If your benefit payments aren't giving you enough to live on, you might be able to get help from your local council or an interest-free loan from the government.

    If you're struggling while waiting for your payments to start, you might be able to get your benefit paid early.
