hi I had an ESA medical assessment 6 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for the decision. How long does it usual take?
Do you get a phone call or a letter?
Its making me even more anxious and stressed waiting for it.

Hi,There's no time scales for decisions, it depends on backlog in your area. You may receive a phone call before the decision is made but not always. If they don't ring then you'll receive a letter in the post. As you're claiming UC then you may have a message on your journal. If you live in the UK you can ring UC and request a copy of the assessment report to be sent to you. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be because they mostly go with the report.0
